Zenith Youth Theatre Company formerly known as Bodlets is based in Bath, England.  The inaugral meeting of Bodlets (The junior section of Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society) was on 15th May 1963 at The Weston Hotel and the group had it’s first AGM in September 1963. The Bodlets was formed by Victor Smith and Charles & Jeanne Wilkinson, members of Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society,  to encourage a younger generation to participate in amateur dramatics and ensure young Bath talent entered the senior society.

Since  1964 Bodlets and, subsequently from 2003, Zenith have been staging cabarets and shows in and around Bath to great critical acclaim. The company first performed in 1964 at the Homestead in Combe Park, Bath and is one of the longest running youth theatre companies in the United Kingdom, only eight years younger than the National Youth Theatre.

Most recently, as part of The Bath Fringe 2011 Zenith performed it’s first ever full length play – The Roses of Eyam.
